The Ellen DeGeneres Show helps the #UglyChristmasSuit Guys
The #UglyChristmasSuit Guys (myself and Tom Harness) have had a busy December. We’ve been working since Giving Tuesday, raising money for Children’s Home and Aid. The original goal was $5,000 but my big mouth upped the ante to $7,500. Now we’re just over half way to that goal.
We’ve received an amazing amount of support from businesses and individuals in southern Illinois. Last week we announced a generous gift from The Ellen DeGeneres Show. I reached out to a producer there and the show has graciously donated two VIP vouchers to see the show in person. My original intent was to just get a retweet about the fundraiser (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, head here.) However, the offer was made with the two tickets to auction them off.
So that’s what we’re doing right now. You have until Christmas Eve to bid on these tickets. But the winner has to be the person using the tickets, as they are non-transferrable. Bidding as of this writing is $500. You can make your bid here (and if you want to do it anonymously, let me or Tom know and we’ll place your bid).
I’m excited about this event and this donation. Every penny donated goes to help Children’s Home & Aid. You can still donate here and set up a time for a photo and social media shout out. We want to help promote you and your business, brand or event through our social media platforms. Thank you all and Merry Christmas.
