‘Ugly Christmas Suit Guy’ gets a partner

#UglyChrsitmasSuit 2017
I’m cheating a little with this post and modifying the press release I wrote earlier today for the #UglyChristmasSuit fundraiser for 2017. I’m honored that my buddy Tom Harness has asked me to help with this year’s event. We hope to raise lots of money for a good cause. Even if you’re not in the southern Illinois area you can help out.
Tis the season for spreading holiday cheer and that’s just what the #UglyChristmasSuit Guy Tom Harness of Harness Digital Marketing is doing once again. For the fourth year, Harness will don an Ugly Christmas Suit and raise money for a local cause.
For the first time, Harness has enlisted a helper in this year’s campaign. WSIL News 3 This Morning anchor Kevin Hunsperger (aka Kevin Hunsblogger) will also put on an Ugly Christmas suit made by the company Shinesty. Together the two are raising money for Children’s Home + Aid in Herrin. That group provides adoption support and counseling for 150 families in 27 southern counties.
Harness and Hunsperger will be visiting businesses and individuals around the region to raise money for Children’s Home + Aid. For a donation, you’ll get a photo opportunity with one or both of the guys in the #UglyChristmasSuit and a post of that photo on social media. Since starting in 2014, Harness has raised thousands of dollars for groups like The Promise in Marion, Team RWB and Gumdrops. This year, Harness and Hunsperger have set a goal of $7,500.
To make arrangements for a visit, or to make a donation online, go to the Ugly Christmas Suit Guy website.
