I’m still here…

Progress Report

Well, it’s been a while. But I can explain. I’ve talked about it before, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to do a reminder. Last summer I picked up a part-time job with Idea Creative Marketing. It’s going well and I am busy each day creating social media content for several different clients. That being said, it has caused me to break my long-time blogging streak. After that ended in November during my trip to Las Vegas, I vowed to at least post some sort of content on a daily basis, whether it be a blog, podcast or YouTube video. But with a full-time job that starts just after midnight many days and the part-time gig as well as a few freelance projects, my brand has been assigned to the back burner.
I’m writing this not to complain but to update people. I’ve also come to realize that keeping my social channels populated is just as important as my two blog sites. A couple of things I remain proud of: I’ve had a new podcast drop each Monday since December 2014. Check out the Jittery Monkey Podcasting Network for those details. In addition to that, my partners at Jittery Monkey are working to build that brand and will all be appearing at Cape Comic Con in April. More on that soon.
Also part of my wrestling brand, My 1-2-3 Cents, is the development of Go Figure Friday. It’s a weekly YouTube series where I talk about some of my favorite pro wrestling action figures after collecting them since 1985. I feel like for the first time in a long time I’m showing my channel some love.
I don’t know what the future holds, but I do plan to become more consistent again on posting to the My 1-2-3 Cents Facebook page as well as my personal Instagram page. My hope is also to return to the upcoming Midwest Digital Marketing Conference in late April. I’m feeling more optimistic about the development of my brand than ever before. Stay tuned and thanks for the support.
