National Honesty Day

Honesty-Day

You Ask, I Answer

April 30 is Honesty Day. So I took to social media for your questions. I told folks I’d be honest with my answers. Many of the questions are fun ones, but here’s what I got. Next year dig deeper.
Jim Reincke asked several questions:
In one sentence, how would you sum up the internet?
The most fascinating yet disturbing place I’ve ever visited.
If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your close friends and family assume you had done?
Is being awesome a crime?
What kind of cult would you like to start?
The Cult of Personality
If you were transported 400 years into the past with no clothes or anything else, how would you prove that you were from the future?
My ‘Rock 2020’ tattoo on my tush.
What are some fun and interesting alternatives to war that countries could settle their differences with?
Serious answer: LISTEN to each other. Too many of us talk to make a point and then to offer a rebuttal. In general, we don’t talk to listen. It’s happening in politics here in Illinois and in Washington. It’s a global problem.
Jared Smith asked: If you were to build a wrestling company from the ground up, who would be the top 3 people that you would choose? Current WWE and independent promotions included.
1. Triple H. A few years ago I wouldn’t have answered that way. But I think Triple H has proven he has a great mind for the business. His role in my company would not be on air necessarily, but more of a behind the scenes guy helping to develop and nurture talent. I love what he’s done with NXT.

2. Daniel Bryan. I know his health isn’t the best, however in my 1-2-3 cents there is no one more over in pro wrestling right now than Daniel Bryan. Wherever he goes, the fans will follow. He’d be my first champ against the dude below…

3. Heath Hatton. And I’m not saying this to kiss up to him, lord knows I do that enough. I honestly value his opinion and his knowledge of wrestling. He’s been around the block and knows what’s going on. I respect his work ethic and value his friendship too. Plus, I need someone to mock me for being a mark and not being able to stick to a workout/nutrition plan.
Chad Smart asked:
Who is the best big spoon; Lisa, Tom or me?
That’s a great question. Chad and I have shared more than one bed on our WrestleMania weekends. However, spooning opportunities never arose (pun intended). Tom and I have never shared a bed. So by default, my lovely wife Lisa wins the big spoon award.
This was fun. Hope you had a little laugh reading these answers. Next year, weigh in too. Also, if you want to leave a critique of anything about me, do it here.
